PEDIGREE---

Quetzal was imported from Mendoza, Argentina to enrich the diversity of our breeding program. He comes from a pedigree largely of native Argentinian lines, but also some Brazilian lines via his maternal grandsire, Carioca Kann Schimmelpfeng.​

TEMPERAMENT---

Temperament-wise, Quetzal is a dream. He is very outgoing and makes new friends everywhere we go...and let me tell you, this kid attracts a crowd thanks to his good looks. He has high food drive and is very intelligent which makes him very easy to train. While his food drive is high, his ball drive is medium, and his tug drive is quite low.

CONFORMATION---

Quetzal has very good pigment, an extremely typey and masculine head with a stunning expression, and balanced movement. In just one long weekend, Quetzal attained his UKC Show Champion title at the young age of 6 months old.

SPORTS---

Quetzal shows the most promise in obedience training, so we have been focusing our efforts there, although he has not yet trialed.

PROGENY---

Quetzal's first litter is still quite young, but displayed excellent conformation and amazing temperaments during their evals. We are excited to eventually see some of them in the show ring!
