For those getting a new puppy or who already have a White Swiss Shepherd
Over the years, I have been asked for recommendations on a multitude of products we use for our dogs, and so we have compiled a list for our buyers and any White Swiss Shepherd owner. We got this idea from our friend and fellow White Swiss Shepherd breeder, Sydney Garfias of Moro Shepherds.

Without further adieu, the list:
DOG FOOD, TREATS, AND CHEWS
-
Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Raw - we use these for training treats
-
My Pet Carnivore Raw Meaty Bones & Enrichment - we use these for crate training and helping to keep our dogs' teeth clean, use code FIRESIDE to save!
-
Cow Hooves - these are one of our favorite chews because they last a really long time
-
Pig Ears - these don't last as long for adult dogs, but they are great for entertaining puppies
-
Beef Gullet Sticks - these are another great chew for puppies
TOYS
-
Flirt Pole - I HIGHLY recommend all shepherd owners get one of these for great fun and exercise
-
Chuck It Balls - our dogs love the chuck it and we can throw the balls so much further
-
Foam Dog Balls - I use these almost exclusively for training
-
West Paw Toppl and Kong Classic - these are great to stuff with moistened kibble, peanut butter, or other treats
COLLARS, HARNESSES, AND LEASHES
-
Tactipup Custom Collars - these are just fun with the dogs' names on them and the quality is great
-
Herm Sprenger Prong Collar - these training collars can help reduce pulling on leash when used correctly, and when the pup is older, not as a baby
-
Mendota Slip Leads - I use these because they're super handy and my dogs don't wear collars daily
-
Redline K9 Biothane Leashes - I love biothane because it's durable and easy to clean, these are by far the best leashes for hiking in particular
-
Champ Dog Gear Super Grip Biothane Leashes - I love these for dock diving because they're the easiest to hold onto when wet
GROOMING
-
Miller's Forge Nail Clippers - these are the very best nail clippers I have ever used
-
Show Sheen Finishing Mist - this helps keep the coat clean after a bath
-
K-9 III Blow Dryer - this is the dryer we use, although it is probably a bit much for those with fewer dogs
CONTAINMENT AND ACCESSORIES
-
Retriever Plastic Dog Crate - we prefer plastic crates in the home because they are easier to clean in case of accidents and harder for dogs to escape, and Retriever brand is our favorite
-
XL Ruffland Dog Crate - we exclusively use Ruffland crates in the car
-
Lucky Dog Kennels - we LOVE our Lucky Dog kennels
-
Kuranda Raised Dog Bed - our dogs love their cot beds and these are almost indestructible
-
MidWest Quiet Time Fleece Crate Mat - we love these crate mats because they seem to last a long time and clean up nicely, and somehow they seem to always be on sale!
