ROYAL'S FURRARI FREEDOM RIDE

Furrari is the matriarch of Fireside Fernweh and embodies everything our program strives to produce. Furrari is from Jean Reeves // Royal Acres in Indiana, USA, but both of her parents are from Sophie Lefebvre // P'tits Loups D'Amour in Belgium. Furrari is a granddaughter of famous Russian male, WW'13 VWW'14 Azimut Ortus and granddaughter of amazing short coated German male, MCH Omar Sharif Biale Wzrgorza BH-VT FPR3 IPO1.

As seems to be the case for most of our dogs, I wasn't planning on getting another dog for another year when Furrari showed up in our lives. My white coated German Shepherd, Athena, was my sport dog whose career was ended by a tractor accident in 2018 resulting in a broken leg. Thankfully she recovered well, but the long hours crated at an agility trial was not a possibility after. Yet, life seems to have a funny way of working everything out, and Jean just happened to have Furrari available - and she was everything I was looking for.

When I got Furrari, breeding was a possibility but it was merely a thought at the back of my mind. All I truly wanted was another dog to train and do sports with. However, upon realizing how few White Swiss Shepherds matched her sociability, breathtaking conformation, and flawless health results, it was clear that Furrari needed to contribute to the genepool. And thus, Fireside Fernweh was born.
