Buyers often ask for recommendations on a wide range of products that we use, so we've made a list of brands we use often with links to purchase. Most of these links will take you to Amazon--we are Amazon Associates and do receive a commission if you purchase via our link. Nonetheless, this list includes only products that we personally use.

TREATS & CHEWS
Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Raw - we use these for the majority of our training sessions
Instinct Freeze Dried Raw - this is another brand we use a lot for training Cow Hooves - although they stink a bit, cow hooves are our favorite chew
Beef Cheek Rolls - these are our next favorite chew as they are very long-lasting
Pig Ears - we like pig ears for young dogs, although they don't really last long enough for adults
Beef Gullet Sticks - another chew we love for puppies, but the adults eat them in <5 minutes
TOYS
Foam Dog Balls - these are our current favorite training toy (and they float!)
Chuck It Ball Launcher - something about the Chuck It launcher makes a ball 10x more fun
The Nero Ball - harder and heavier than the foam dog balls, it's easy to throw these super far
Starmark Durafoam Disc - this is the only disc I use with my dogs as I have had dogs cut their mouths on the hard plastic ones
Jolly Pets Push-N-Play Ball - a few of our dogs are totally obsessed with this thing
Flirt Pole - puppies LOVE this thing and it's great for building drive, having fun, and exercise
Sheepskin Bungee Tug - this is fun for puppies and young adults to play tug with, but don't leave them unsupervised
DOG FOOD
Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy - our puppies are currently eating this formula
We Feed Raw - we use this to supplement occasionally
GROOMING
Miller's Forge Nail Clippers - I have used many nail clippers and these are hands down the very best
Slicker Brush - this is a must-have for the longhair dogs as it's the most efficient at getting the undercoat out during shedding season
Rake Brush - this brush is great for either coat type, but especially shorthair dogs
High Velocity Blow Dryer - although costly, this is a game changer for coat maintenance (while we use this exact model since we have lots of dogs, those with only a couple dogs will likely be happy with any K-9 brand dryer)
Mane N Tail Spray on White Shampoo - this is for horses but works great and being a spray is super easy
Enzymatic Shampoo - this is good at getting stains out of the coat
COLLARS/LEASHES/HARNESSES
Red Line K9 Biothane Leash - this is the leash I use for everyday walking/hiking, or UKC obedience (which requries a 6ft leash)
Red Line K9 Biothane Long Line - I use this for tracking (33ft/10m) and for dogs not quite ready to be off leash in public
Herm Sprenger Prong Collar - I use these on adult dogs only for training and walking, please do NOT purchase on Amazon because you might not get a real Herm Sprenger, which is by far the most reliable brand
Mendota Slip Lead - these are my favorite leashes for quick and easy access; I use them at the vet, for a quick potty break on road trips, or any time I just need something quick
Mendota Standard Leash - I use one of these in 4ft for all of obedience/rally where 6ft is not required
Tactipup Customized Collar - I have these for many of the dogs because they are fun :)
HEALTH & SUPPLEMENTS
Embark DNA - all of our dogs and puppies have been Embark DNA tested
Kefir - I keep the probiotics above on hand also, but I make kefir for the dogs and give them about 20mL daily
