About Quetzal

Quetzal hails from Mendoza, Argentina where he was bred by Evelyn Buffa // Zeichen Von Wolf. Quetzal's lineage is largely Argentinian, although his grandfather, Carioca Kann Schimmelpfeng, adds a splash of Brazilian lines. Our hope is that Quetzal's South American lines will bring diversity to our program, which is so far largely based on European lines.

Quez has arrived! He is a very fun, active pup with a self-assured temperament and good drives. I went to Evelyn months before the Q-litter was bred with a vision of what I needed for my program. We talked in depth about my preferences and her boys and landed on the black collared puppy. He could not be a more perfect match for us! We are very excited to watch him grow and think he has a very bright future in show and sports.

PS, Quetzal is named after a beautiful, vibrant bird native to South America.
